Agentic Workspace

Beyond the Buzzwords: Why GTB Secures More Than Just the “Agentic Workspace”

Have you seen the cybersecurity news and analyst reports lately?  Then you’ve probably seen the headlines about “AI email attacks” and a new term for buzzword bingo: the agentic workspace and agentic AI.

The idea is simple: as AI assistants become part of daily work—reading emails, drafting responses, accessing files—attackers are trying to trick them with malicious prompts. Some vendors are calling this the “agentic workspace” threat, and they’re rushing to market with new gateways and controls to address it.

At GTB Technologies^®, we see it a little differently.

Data Security Doesn’t Need a New Name

For over 20 years, GTB Technologies^® has been stopping sensitive data from leaving organizations in the wrong hands. Whether it’s an insider trying to exfiltrate a file, a misdirected email, or a cloud application sharing too much, our mission has always been the same: Data Security with DLP that Works^tm.

AI doesn’t change that mission—it just introduces new ways data can be misused. Instead of creating another buzzword, we’ve extended our proven platform to handle these new risks.

Securing Data with Contextual AI™

AI Data Security: Built Into GTB

Here’s how GTB already secures the so-called “agentic workspace” (and much more):

• TraceVault AI™ – Monitors and governs generative AI inputs and outputs, so sensitive data never slips through.
• Lifeguard AI™ – Uses AI-assisted classification and real-time enforcement to make sure policies are applied consistently and accurately.
• Exact Data Match (EDM) – Our proprietary fingerprinting technology that prevents exfiltration of your most sensitive data with unmatched precision.

Unlike single-purpose gateways, GTB protects all data paths—email, endpoints, SaaS apps, APIs, and yes, AI tools.  GTB –

Why This Matters for Enterprises

As organizations adopt AI, the risks of prompt injection, shadow AI usage, and compliance gaps are growing fast. Regulators are already tightening expectations around how enterprises govern AI.

With GTB, you don’t have to wait for the next buzzword or bolt-on product. You get a platform that’s already:

• Proven in regulated industries like finance, healthcare, and government.
• Flexible across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Ready to govern both human and AI-driven data flows.

Our Takeaway

We, at GTB, welcome the attention vendors are bringing to AI security—it’s important. But while others introduce new categories to market reports and services, GTB is focused on what matters: protecting your data everywhere, no matter who (or what) is trying to access it.

That’s why GTB remains the trusted choice for enterprises that need future-ready data security for the AI era, without the marketing spin.
